Honda Service Pass Program Rules

- Maintenance coverage: A1 and B1 services (oil change, oil filter, tire rotation), and MPI (multi-point inspection) as determined by the vehicle's Maintenance Minder system

- Term: 2yrs/24k miles (whichever comes first) for New 23MY vehicles

- Location: Included maintenance must occur at a participating dealership (dealers will have the option to participate in the program)

- Vehicle Brands: Honda vehicles must be serviced at participating Honda dealerships and vehicles must be serviced at participating dealerships

- Honda Genuine parts and oil must be used by participating dealerships (parts and oil as determined by AHM)

- Included maintenance is a benefit of the vehicle and is transferrable to subsequent ownership, the coverage terms do not reset

Is there a limit as to how many complimentary maintenance services a customer can have within the 2 years or 24,000 mile program terms?

There is no specified limit. Complimentary maintenance services are covered when needed as per the maintenance minder system.

Does the maintenance minder need to be on for a customer to get a service completed under the complimentary maintenance program?

Yes, for the service to be eligible under the complimentary maintenance program, the maintenance minder light does need be on and call for the services.

There is a chance the maintenance minder “2” or “6” light can come on in the first 2 years or 24,000 miles. Are these services also covered?

The services included in the complimentary maintenance program are the “A”, “B”, and “1” services. Anything other than those services are not covered under the complimentary maintenance program. However, VSC has created new maintenance wrap packages that can be sold to customers at the time of sale to cover these services. Please consult with your DRM for details.

Will there be a grace period if a customer brings their vehicle in for service, but they are outside of the 2 years or 24,000 miles?

No, there is no grace period. The complimentary maintenance program covers vehicles for the first 2 years or 24,000 miles, whichever comes first.

Does the complimentary maintenance program transfer if the vehicle is traded or sold within the first 2 years or 24,000 miles?

Yes, the complimentary maintenance program transfers with the vehicle if it is traded or sold within the 2 year or 24,000 miles program terms. The new owner will get the remaining balance of time and mileage to take advantage of the complimentary maintenance benefits.

Honda Serve Pass covers certain factory scheduled maintenance on all new MY23 Honda vehicles for tow years or 24,000 miles, whichever comes first. Certain models may require different maintenance schedules as recommended by the vehicle's Maintenance Minder system and described in the vehicle's Owners Manual.
